Article 67 of the French Civil Code

The civil registrar will, without delay, make a summary entry of the oppositions in the marriage register; he will also make a note, in the margin of the entry of the said oppositions, of the judgments or acts of release of which a copy has been given to him.

Article 67

L’officier de l’état civil fera, sans délai, une mention sommaire des oppositions sur le registre des mariages ; il fera aussi mention, en marge de l’inscription desdites oppositions, des jugements ou des actes de mainlevée dont expédition lui aura été remise.
