Article 695-9-25 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The Public Prosecutor shall inform the judicial authority of the issuing State of any appeal lodged and of the grounds raised, so that that authority may submit its observations, where appropriate by means of the telecommunications facilities provided for in Article 706-71. It shall inform the victim of the results of this action.

Le procureur général informe l’autorité judiciaire de l’Etat d’émission du recours éventuellement exercé et des moyens soulevés, afin que cette autorité puisse produire ses observations, le cas échéant par l’intermédiaire des moyens de télécommunications prévus à l’article 706-71. Il l’avise des résultats de cette action.
