Article 695-9-57 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

A judicial authority which decides, on the basis of the information it has gathered in accordance with Article 695-9-54 and after consultation with the competent authorities of the other Member States concerned, to refrain from any further action pending the outcome of criminal proceedings parallel to the one it is conducting shall notify the parties thereof.

L’autorité judiciaire qui décide, sur la base des informations qu’elle a recueillies conformément à l’article 695-9-54 et après consultation avec les autorités compétentes des autres Etats membres concernés, de s’abstenir de tout nouvel acte dans l’attente des résultats d’une procédure pénale parallèle à celle qu’elle conduit en avertit les parties.
