Article 696-39 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

A surrendered person shall be deemed to be unreservedly subject to the laws of the requesting State, by reason of any act prior to the extradition and different from the offence for which the extradition was ordered, if for thirty days from the date of his final release he has had the opportunity to leave the territory of that State.

Est considérée comme soumise sans réserve à l’application des lois de l’Etat requérant, à raison d’un fait quelconque antérieur à l’extradition et différent de l’infraction qui a motivé cette mesure, la personne remise qui a eu, pendant trente jours à compter de sa libération définitive, la possibilité de quitter le territoire de cet Etat.
