A European protection order may be issued by the competent authority of a Member State, called the issuing State, for the purpose of extending to the territory of another Member State, called the executing State, a protection measure adopted in the issuing State, imposing on a suspected, prosecuted or convicted person who may be the cause of danger to the victim of the offence, one or more of the following prohibitions:
1° A prohibition on going to certain places, locations or defined areas in which the victim is or frequents;
2° A prohibition or regulation of contact with the victim;
3° A prohibition on approaching the victim at less than a certain distance, or under certain conditions.
