Article 706-128 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Articles 706-122 à 706-127 are applicable before the Investigating Chamber in the event of an appeal against an order of lack of criminal responsibility on grounds of mental disorder or in the event of an appeal against a committal order when this appeal is lodged by an accused person who invokes the application of the first paragraph of article 122-1 of the Penal Code.

Les articles 706-122 à 706-127 sont applicables devant la chambre de l’instruction en cas d’appel d’une ordonnance d’irresponsabilité pénale pour cause de trouble mental ou en cas d’appel d’une ordonnance de renvoi lorsque cet appel est formé par une personne mise en examen qui invoque l’application du premier alinéa de l’article 122-1 du code pénal.
