For the prosecution, investigation and trial of offences falling within the scope of Article 706-167, the anti-terrorist public prosecutor, the investigating judge, the criminal court and the Paris assize court exercise concurrent jurisdiction with that resulting from the application of Articles 43,52,382 and 702.
As regards minors, the anti-terrorist public prosecutor, the investigating judge, the juvenile judge, the juvenile court and the Paris juvenile assize court exercise concurrent jurisdiction with that resulting from the application of Order no. 45-174 of 2 February 1945 relating to delinquent children.
When they are competent to prosecute and investigate offences falling within the scope of Article 706-167, the Anti-Terrorism Public Prosecutor and the Paris Investigating Judge exercise their powers throughout France.
The investigation of acts of financing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery defined by articles L. 1333-13-5, L. 2339-15, L. 2341-2 and L. 2341-4 and the fourth paragraph of Article L. 2342-60 of the Defence Code may be entrusted, where applicable under the conditions provided for in Article 83-1 of this Code, to a magistrate of the Paris Judicial Court assigned to investigating panels specialising in economic and financial matters pursuant to the twenty-first paragraph of Article 704.
