Article 792 of the French Code of civil procedure

The measures taken by the Pre-Trial Judge are simply mentioned in the file; notice is given to the lawyers.

However, in the cases provided for in articles 787 to 790, the Pre-Trial Judge shall rule by reasoned order, subject to the rules specific to investigative measures.

Les mesures prises par le juge de la mise en état sont l’objet d’une simple mention au dossier ; avis en est donné aux avocats.


Toutefois, dans les cas prévus aux articles 787 à 790, le juge de la mise en état statue par ordonnance motivée sous réserve des règles particulières aux mesures d’instruction.
