Article 810-12 of the French Civil Code

Curatorship ends:

1° By the allocation of all assets to the payment of debts and legacies;

2° By the realisation of all assets and the consignment of the net proceeds;

3° By the restitution of the estate to the heirs whose rights are recognised;

4° By the State being sent into possession.

Article 810-12

La curatelle prend fin :

1° Par l’affectation intégrale de l’actif au paiement des dettes et des legs ;

2° Par la réalisation de la totalité de l’actif et la consignation du produit net ;

3° Par la restitution de la succession aux héritiers dont les droits sont reconnus ;

4° Par l’envoi en possession de l’Etat.
