Article 820 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

For the application of articles 127, 133 and 135-2, if the person who is the subject of the warrant is found on an island where there is no court, the conduct takes place from the first air or sea link. Pour l’application des articles 127, 133 et 135-2, si la personne faisant l’objet du mandat est trouvée dans une île où ne siège pas de tribunal, la conduite a lieu dès la première liaison aérienne ou maritime. Le délai nécessaire à la conduite de cette personne devant le magistrat compétent et celui pendant lequel elle a été retenue avant son embarquement sont imputés, s’il y a lieu, sur la durée de la peine.
