Article 873 of the French General Tax Code

Each item awarded is entered immediately in the minutes, the price written in full and drawn off the line in figures.

Each session is closed and signed by the public officer, the sworn goods broker or the person authorised to conduct the sale.

When a sale takes place as a result of an inventory, this is mentioned in the minutes, with an indication of the date of the inventory, the name of the notary who carried it out and the receipt for registration, if applicable.

Chaque objet adjugé est porté de suite au procès-verbal, le prix y est écrit en toutes lettres et tiré hors ligne en chiffres.

Chaque séance est close et signée par l’officier public, le courtier de marchandises assermenté ou la personne habilitée à diriger la vente.

Lorsqu’une vente a lieu par suite d’inventaire, il en est fait mention au procès-verbal, avec indication de la date de l’inventaire, du nom du notaire qui y a procédé et de la quittance de l’enregistrement, le cas échéant.
