Article 911 of the French Code of civil procedure

Subject to the penalties provided for in articles 905-2 and 908 to 910, the pleadings are notified to the parties’ lawyers within the time limit for their delivery to the court registry. Subject to the same sanctions, they shall be served at the latest within one month of the expiry of the time limits provided for in those articles on the parties who have not constituted a lawyer; however, if, in the meantime, they have constituted a lawyer before the service of the pleadings, their lawyer shall be served.

Service of pleadings within the meaning of Article 910-1 made to a party within the time limit provided for in articles 905-2 and 908 to 910 as well as in the first paragraph of this article constitutes the starting point of the time limit available to that party to deliver his pleadings to the court registry.

Article 911
