Article 912 of the French Code of civil procedure

The Conseiller de la mise en status examines the case within fifteen days of the expiry of the time limits for closing and communicating exhibits.

He sets the date for closure and the date for oral argument. However, if the case requires further exchanges of pleadings, without prejudice to Article 910-4, it shall set the timetable for this, after obtaining the opinion of the lawyers.

In all cases, the files, including copies of the documents referred to in the pleadings and numbered in the order of the summary list, are lodged with the court fifteen days before the date set for the oral hearing.

Le conseiller de la mise en état examine l’affaire dans les quinze jours suivant l’expiration des délais pour conclure et communiquer les pièces.

Il fixe la date de la clôture et celle des plaidoiries. Toutefois, si l’affaire nécessite de nouveaux échanges de conclusions, sans préjudice de l’article 910-4, il en fixe le calendrier, après avoir recueilli l’avis des avocats.

Dans tous les cas, les dossiers, comprenant les copies des pièces visées dans les conclusions et numérotées dans l’ordre du bordereau récapitulatif, sont déposés à la cour quinze jours avant la date fixée pour l’audience de plaidoiries.
