Article 913-12 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The granting of aid from the compensation fund is subject to the provisions of Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty, in particular those provided for in Chapter I and Article 54 of Section 11 relating to aid schemes for audiovisual works.
Cinematographic or audiovisual works for which aid from the compensation fund has been granted are considered to be difficult works. By way of derogation from articles 211-20, 211-21, 211-22, 311-18, 311-19 and 411-9, the intensity of public aid granted for the production of these works may be increased to 100% of the final production cost, including the additional cost generated by the interruption or abandonment of filming.

L’attribution des aides du fonds d’indemnisation est soumise aux dispositions du règlement (UE) n° 651/2014 de la Commission du 17 juin 2014 déclarant certaines catégories d’aides compatibles avec le marché intérieur en application des articles 107 et 108 du traité, notamment celles prévues par le chapitre Ier et l’article 54 de la section 11 relatif aux régimes d’aides en faveur des œuvres audiovisuelles.
Les œuvres cinématographiques ou audiovisuelles pour lesquelles une aide du fonds d’indemnisation a été attribuée sont considérées comme des œuvres difficiles. Par dérogation aux articles 211-20, 211-21, 211-22, 311-18, 311-19 et 411-9, l’intensité des aides publiques accordées pour la production de ces œuvres peut être portée à 100 % du coût définitif de production, en ce compris le coût supplémentaire engendré par l’interruption ou l’abandon du tournage.
