Article 992 of the French Code of civil procedure

The Registrar of the Court of Cassation shall, without delay, notify a copy of the statement in response to the appellant by simple letter.

In the event of a cross-appeal, he shall notify a copy of the statement of case provided for in paragraph 1 of article 1010.

Article 992

Le greffier de la Cour de cassation notifie, sans délai, une copie du mémoire en réponse au demandeur par lettre simple.

En cas de pourvoi incident, il notifie selon les mêmes formes au défendeur à ce pourvoi une copie du mémoire prévu à l’alinéa 1er de l’article 1010.
