Article A822-28-9 of the French Commercial code

Commissionaires aux comptes shall declare annually, by 31 March at the latest, to the Haut Conseil du Commissariat aux Comptes or its delegate, the conditions under which they have fulfilled their continuing professional education obligation during the previous calendar year. The procedures for this declaration are defined by the Haut Conseil.

The supporting documents needed to verify compliance with this obligation are attached to the declaration and kept so that they can be produced, if necessary, during audits or investigations. Their retention period is set at six years.

Les commissaires aux comptes déclarent annuellement, au plus tard le 31 mars, auprès du Haut Conseil du commissariat aux comptes ou de son délégataire, les conditions dans lesquelles ils ont satisfait à leur obligation de formation professionnelle continue au cours de l’année civile écoulée. Les modalités de cette déclaration sont définies par le Haut Conseil.


Les justificatifs utiles à la vérification du respect de cette obligation sont joints à la déclaration et conservés pour être, le cas échéant, produits lors des contrôles ou des enquêtes. Leur durée de conservation est fixée à six années.
