GENERAL PROVISIONS
APPLICABLE TO ALL APPLICATIONS
1. Where the declarant is unable to produce one or more of the supporting documents provided for in the following annexes, he may apply to the judge responsible for supervising the register for dispensation, where appropriate, from producing these documents.
2. Where the person required to register is unable to prove his identity by means of the document prescribed in the schedules, he may prove it by means of any official document.
3. In all cases where the formalities are carried out by a proxy, the latter must provide proof of a power of attorney.
4. Additional supporting documents may be requested from the declarant if duly justified by a particular situation, when the document produced is insufficient; additional supporting documents may be required pursuant to specific texts.
5. Where the document referred to in the following annexes is a final decision, it may be an order, a judgment or a ruling, and a copy thereof shall be provided together with:
– a certificate from the lawyer attesting to its final nature; or
– a certificate of no appeal or non-appeal.
6. The documents and deeds produced shall be translated into French and certified as true, where the court clerk is unable to understand them in their original language.
