Linguistic interpreting in the healthcare field guarantees healthcare professionals the means to provide care for people who do not speak French, or speak it imperfectly, while respecting their rights as set out in this Title, in particular the right to information, the right to free and informed consent, the right to privacy and the confidentiality of information concerning them.
