I.- Pools are supplied with new and recycled water.
New water is supplied by non-recycled water that complies with the provisions of II and III.
Recycled water is supplied by treated water from the pool.
An order from the Minister for Health defines the methods for treating pool water.
II.- New water is supplied to pools from a public distribution network or from water taken from the natural environment.Pools are supplied with new water from a public distribution network or from water taken from the natural environment.
The use of water taken from the natural environment is authorised by the Prefect of the Department on the recommendation of the Director General of the Regional Health Agency. An order from the Minister for Health defines the elements and procedures for submitting the application for authorisation by the person responsible for the swimming pool.
III.-Where the water supply to the pool is already provided by 31 December 2021 using water taken from the natural environment, it is deemed to satisfy the provisions of II. The Prefect of the département will draw up a list of water supplies for swimming pools existing on 31 December 2021.
Water taken from the natural environment may be treated before being fed into the swimming pool water treatment system, subject to the use of treatment products and processes complying with the provisions of articles R. 1321-50 and D. 1332-3.
IV.The provisions of the second paragraph of II and III do not apply to:
1° Swimming pools in collective or individual housing complexes reserved for the use of staff or residents and swimming pools where the theoretical maximum attendance as defined in I of article D. 1332-7 is less than or equal to fifteen people;
2° Swimming pools in commercial tourist accommodation where the capacity of the establishment in which the pool is located is less than or equal to fifteen people. The capacity ;
3° Individual pools without whirlpools frequented by a single user at a time and whose water is not drained after each user.
