I.-The health inspection mentioned in article L. 1332-3 includes any operation to check compliance with the legislative and regulatory provisions relating to the health safety of bathing water.
It includes in particular:
1° Inspecting bathing waters;
2° Checking the management and health safety measures implemented by the person responsible for the bathing water and the mayor, in particular informing the public and banning bathing;
3° Taking samples and analysing bathing water quality, carrying out visual pollution checks and interpreting the results for health purposes.
The content of the programme for analysing artificial bathing water and filling water, the procedures for adapting it, the frequency of sampling and analysis and the health safety measures mentioned in 2° are specified by order of the Minister for Health.
II. -The monitoring programme for artificial bathing water and filling water provided for in the fifth paragraph of article L. 1332-3 includes, as a minimum, daily visual monitoring during the bathing season. It may also include monitoring of indicators selected on the basis of the water profile provided for in article D. 1332-44. The minimum list of parameters to be monitored and their associated analysis methods, as well as the frequency of monitoring, are set by order of the Ministry of Health.
The person responsible for the artificial bathing facility keeps an up-to-date health logbook containing all the results of monitoring, upkeep and maintenance operations, indicators of the hydraulic management of the facilities, instantaneous and daily visitor numbers, as well as incidents that have occurred and how they have been dealt with.
This information is made available to the Director General of the Regional Health Agency.
