Article D1414-51 of the French Public Health Code

The committee chooses its chairman from among its members, who is approved by the Minister for Health. The chairman’s term of office is three years and may be renewed.

The Director General of Health, the Director General of Healthcare, the Director of Social Security, the Director of the National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Healthcare Products, the Director General of the National Institute for Health and Medical Research and the Director of the Agency for the Development of Medical Evaluation attend meetings of the National Committee for Medical Evaluation in an advisory capacity.

The Directorate General for Health provides the secretariat for the National Committee for Medical Evaluation.

Le comité choisit parmi ses membres son président qui est agréé par le ministre chargé de la santé. Son mandat est de trois ans renouvelable.

Le directeur général de la santé, le directeur général de l’offre de soins, le directeur de la sécurité sociale, le directeur de l’Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé, le directeur général de l’Institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale et le directeur de l’agence pour le développement de l’évaluation médicale assistent avec voix consultative aux réunions du Comité national pour l’évaluation médicale.

La direction générale de la santé assure le secrétariat du Comité national pour l’évaluation médicale.
