An art house film is one that meets at least one of the following criteria:
1° A cinematographic work that is research-based or new in the cinematographic field;
2° A cinematographic work that has undeniable qualities but has not obtained the audience it deserved;
3° A cinematographic work that reflects the life of countries whose cinematographic production is not widely distributed in France;
4° A revival of a film of artistic or historical interest, and in particular a film considered to be a “classic of the screen”;
5° A short-lived film aimed at renewing cinematographic entertainment through its quality and choice.
