Article D212-78 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

Ticket manufacturers, importers or merchants declare their deliveries of printed tickets, specifying:
1° The names and addresses of the cinematographic establishments to which they are sent;
2° The number of tickets delivered, by category of seats, as well as the ticket numbers.
These declarations are sent by the above-mentioned persons to the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée and to their tax department within eight days of delivery.
Operators of cinemas who buy their tickets directly from abroad are considered to be importers and are required to make the above-mentioned declarations.

Les fabricants, importateurs ou marchands de billets déclarent leurs livraisons de billets imprimerie, en précisant :
1° Les noms et adresses des établissements de spectacles cinématographiques destinataires ;
2° Le nombre des billets livrés, par catégorie de places, ainsi que les numéros des billets.
Ces déclarations sont adressées par les personnes précitées au Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée ainsi qu’au service des impôts dont elles dépendent, dans les huit jours qui suivent les livraisons.
Les exploitants d’établissements de spectacles cinématographiques qui achètent leurs billets directement à l’étranger sont considérés comme importateurs et astreints aux déclarations précitées.
