Article D3113-9 of the French Public Health Code

The list of diseases requiring special surveillance for the protection of public health and giving rise to the alerts mentioned in article R. 3113-4 is as follows:

1° Diseases mentioned in article D. 3113-8;

2° Other infectious diseases:

1. Acute symptomatic infection with the hepatitis B virus;

2. Infection with the human immunodeficiency virus, whatever the stage;

3. Tetanus;

3° Other illnesses :

1. Mesothelioma ;

4° Other respiratory diseases :

1. Covid-19.

Only the managers of a medical biology department or laboratory, whether private or public, are required to report the diseases mentioned in 4°.

La liste des maladies qui exigent une surveillance particulière pour la protection de la santé publique et donnent lieu aux signalements mentionnés à l’article R. 3113-4 est la suivante :


1° Maladies mentionnées à l’article D. 3113-8 ;


2° Autres maladies infectieuses :


1. Infection aiguë symptomatique par le virus de l’hépatite B ;


2. Infection par le virus de l’immunodéficience humaine, quel que soit le stade ;


3. Tétanos ;


3° Autres maladies :


1. Mésothéliomes ;


4° Autres maladies respiratoires :


1. Covid-19.


Seuls les responsables d’un service ou d’un laboratoire de biologie médicale, privé ou public, sont tenus de procéder au signalement des maladies mentionnées au 4°.
