Article D3121-6 of the French Public Health Code

Permanent experts, chosen from among persons specially qualified by their work in areas within the Council’s remit, and appointed by order of the Minister for Health on the recommendation of the Council Chairman, may also be appointed to assist the Council. They are heard as and when required.

Des experts permanents, choisis parmi les personnalités spécialement qualifiées par leurs travaux sur les matières entrant dans la compétence du conseil, et nommés par arrêté du ministre chargé de la santé, sur proposition du président du conseil, peuvent également être désignés auprès du conseil pour assister celui-ci. Ils sont entendus en tant que de besoin.
