Article D4022-2 of the French Public Health Code

For the purposes of applying the provisions of article L. 4022-5, the national board for periodic certification shall carry out its duties in accordance with the following procedures:

1° Decisions taken and opinions issued by the national board for periodic certification shall be made by the collegiate body;

2° The professional commissions are responsible for implementing the scientific guidelines set by the collegiate body. They are also consulted, as necessary, by the President of the National Council for Periodic Certification to examine decisions and opinions for the professions and specialities that concern them. They may submit for the opinion of the collegiate body any proposal made by one of their representatives in connection with the preparation of the reference systems provided for in article L. 4022-7.

Pour l’application des dispositions de l’article L. 4022-5, le conseil national de la certification périodique exerce ses missions selon les modalités suivantes :


1° Les décisions prises et les avis rendus par le conseil national de la certification périodique le sont par l’instance collégiale ;


2° Les commissions professionnelles assurent la déclinaison des orientations scientifiques fixées par l’instance collégiale. Elles sont également saisies, en tant que de besoin, par le président du conseil national de la certification périodique pour instruire les décisions et avis pour les professions et spécialités qui les concernent. Elles peuvent soumettre à l’avis de l’instance collégiale toute proposition faite par l’un de leurs représentants dans le cadre de l’élaboration des référentiels prévus à l’article L. 4022-7.
