Article D4135-2 of the French Public Health Code

Physicians or medical teams practising in health establishments providing obstetrics, obstetric ultrasound, intensive care or one of the following specialities may apply for accreditation:

1° General surgery ;

2° Neurosurgery ;

3° Urological surgery ;

4° Orthopaedic surgery and traumatology ;

5° Pediatric surgery ;

6° Surgery of the face and neck ;

7° Maxillo-facial surgery and stomatology, or maxillo-facial surgery ;

8° Reconstructive plastic surgery ;

9° Thoracic and cardiovascular surgery ;

10° Vascular surgery ;

11° Visceral and digestive surgery ;

12° Gynaecology-obstetrics, or medical gynaecology and gynaecology-obstetrics;

13° Anaesthesia and intensive care ;

14° Medical intensive care ;

15° Stomatology ;

16° Otolaryngology ;

17° Ophthalmology ;

18° Cardiology ;

19° Radiology ;

20° Gastroenterology ;

21° Pneumology.

For the specialties mentioned in 15° to 21°, only doctors carrying out surgical or interventional activities may apply for accreditation.

Doctors in the same speciality forming a medical team may jointly apply for accreditation. In this case, accreditation is issued to each of the doctors making up the medical team.

Peuvent demander à être accrédités les médecins ou équipes médicales exerçant en établissements de santé ayant une activité d’obstétrique, d’échographie obstétricale, de réanimation, de soins intensifs ou exerçant l’une des spécialités suivantes :

1° Chirurgie générale ;

2° Neurochirurgie ;

3° Chirurgie urologique ;

4° Chirurgie orthopédique et traumatologie ;

5° Chirurgie infantile ;

6° Chirurgie de la face et du cou ;

7° Chirurgie maxillo-faciale et stomatologie, ou chirurgie maxillo-faciale ;

8° Chirurgie plastique reconstructrice ;

9° Chirurgie thoracique et cardio-vasculaire ;

10° Chirurgie vasculaire ;

11° Chirurgie viscérale et digestive ;

12° Gynécologie-obstétrique, ou gynécologie médicale et gynécologie-obstétrique ;

13° Anesthésie-réanimation ;

14° Réanimation médicale ;

15° Stomatologie ;

16° Oto-rhino-laryngologie ;

17° Ophtalmologie ;

18° Cardiologie ;

19° Radiologie ;

20° Gastro-entérologie ;

21° Pneumologie.

Pour les spécialités mentionnées aux 15° à 21°, seuls les médecins exerçant une activité chirurgicale ou interventionnelle peuvent demander à être accrédités.

Les médecins d’une même spécialité constituant une équipe médicale peuvent conjointement présenter une demande d’accréditation. Dans ce cas, l’accréditation est délivrée à chacun des médecins composant l’équipe médicale.
