Article D4311-102 of the French Public Health Code

The National Council of the Order of Nurses or any body of this Order authorised for this purpose by the National Council will register persons who have obtained, within the last three years, evidence of formal qualifications or authorisation required to practise the profession of nurse but who are not practising.

The national council or the authorised body will proceed with registration after checking the supporting identity documents presented or forwarded by the interested party.

Until the system provided for in article L. 4311-15-1 is implemented, the council or body will also verify the authenticity of the documents presented or forwarded by the person concerned to prove his or her training qualifications by comparing them with the information obtained in particular from the bodies that issued these qualifications.

Le Conseil national de l’ordre des infirmiers ou toute instance de cet ordre habilitée à cet effet par le conseil national procède à l’enregistrement des personnes ayant obtenu depuis moins de trois ans un titre de formation ou une autorisation requis pour l’exercice de la profession d’infirmière ou d’infirmier mais n’exercent pas.

Le conseil national ou l’instance habilitée procède à l’enregistrement après vérification des pièces justificatives d’identité présentées ou transmises par l’intéressé.

Jusqu’à la mise en œuvre du dispositif prévu à l’article L. 4311-15-1, le conseil ou l’instance procède également à la vérification de l’authenticité des documents présentés ou transmis par l’intéressé pour justifier de ses titres de formation par leur confrontation avec les informations obtenues notamment auprès des organismes ayant délivré ces titres.
