Article D4311-15-1 of the French Public Health Code

When the nurse renews a prescription for oral contraceptive medicinal products under the conditions provided for in the fourth paragraph of article L. 4311-1 of the Public Health Code, he or she enters the following information on the original medical prescription:

1° His or her surname, first name and the number obtained during the registration process provided for in article L. 4311-15;

2° The words “Renewal nurse” ;

3° The duration of this renewal, expressed in months and which may not exceed six months;

4° The date on which this renewal is carried out.

Lorsque l’infirmier ou l’infirmière procède au renouvellement d’une prescription de médicaments contraceptifs oraux dans les conditions prévues au quatrième alinéa de l’article L. 4311-1 du code de la santé publique, il ou elle inscrit sur l’original de l’ordonnance médicale les indications suivantes :

1° Son nom, son prénom et le numéro obtenu lors de l’enregistrement prévu à l’article L. 4311-15 ;

2° La mention ” Renouvellement infirmier ” ;

3° La durée de ce renouvellement, exprimée en mois et qui ne peut excéder six mois ;

4° La date à laquelle ce renouvellement est effectué.
