Article D4322-1-1 of the French Public Health Code

Chiropodists are authorised to renew and, where appropriate, adapt medical prescriptions for foot orthoses that are less than three years old, provided that the physician has not excluded the possibility of renewal and adaptation without a new prescription by expressly stating this on the original prescription.

Chiropodists will inform the prescribing doctor or, where applicable, another doctor designated by the patient, of the renewal and, where applicable, the adaptation of the initial medical prescription.

Article D4322-1-1
