Article D4342-6 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Chairman of the Regional Council shall attach the mandates and supporting documents for expenditure, indicated in articles D. 1617-19 and D. 1617-20, to the issue slips that he sends to the region’s accounting officer, who must check them within the timeframe allotted to him and, if necessary, regularise them with the president of the regional council.

Le président du conseil régional annexe les mandats et pièces justificatives de dépenses, indiqués aux articles D. 1617-19 et D. 1617-20, aux bordereaux d’émission qu’il adresse au comptable de la région qui doit procéder dans les délais qui lui sont impartis à leur vérification et en suivre, lorsqu’il y a lieu, la régularisation auprès du président du conseil régional.
