The premises reserved for the professional activity of a hearing aid acoustician comprise :
1° Either a practice and a soundproof booth, or an audioprosthetic measurement room with a minimum useful volume of fifteen cubic metres. In both cases, the noise level under normal conditions of use must not exceed forty decibels A expressed as a constant equivalent level over a measurement period of one hour; this reverberation time must not exceed 0.5 seconds at a frequency of 500 hertz during audioprosthetic measurements;
2° A waiting room separate from the audioprosthetic measurement room;
3° A laboratory separate from the audioprosthetic measurement room when earmolds or shells are manufactured.
