Article D5213-89 of the French Labour Code

The following may be beneficiaries of the supported employment scheme, giving rise to support from their employer:

1° Disabled workers recognised under article L. 5213-2 who have a project for integration into an ordinary working environment;

2° Disabled workers admitted to an establishment or service for assistance through work mentioned in a of 5° of I of article L. 312-1 of the Code de l’Action Sociale et des Familles (Social Action and Family Code) who have a plan for integration into an ordinary working environment;

3° Disabled workers employed in an ordinary working environment who are experiencing particular difficulties in securing long-term employment.

The supported employment scheme is open from the age of sixteen.

Peuvent être bénéficiaires du dispositif d’emploi accompagné, donnant lieu à l’accompagnement de leur employeur :


1° Les travailleurs handicapés reconnus au titre de l’article L. 5213-2 ayant un projet d’insertion en milieu ordinaire de travail ;


2° Les travailleurs handicapés accueillis dans un établissement ou service d’aide par le travail mentionné au a du 5° du I de l’article L. 312-1 du code de l’action sociale et des familles ayant un projet d’insertion en milieu ordinaire de travail ;


3° Les travailleurs handicapés en emploi en milieu ordinaire de travail qui rencontrent des difficultés particulières pour sécuriser de façon durable leur insertion professionnelle.


Le dispositif d’emploi accompagné est ouvert dès l’âge de seize ans.
