Article D5232-6 of the French Public Health Code

Service providers and equipment distributors shall respect the right of persons who are ill or who have an incapacity or disability to consult the healthcare professional of their choice.

They are prohibited from slandering a healthcare professional, casting aspersions on him or her or echoing comments likely to harm him or her in the exercise of his or her profession.

They will only deliver categories of equipment of which they have knowledge, experience and regular practice.

Le prestataire de services et le distributeur de matériels respectent le droit de la personne malade ou présentant une incapacité ou un handicap de s’adresser au professionnel de santé de son choix.

Il leur est interdit de calomnier un professionnel de santé, de médire de lui ou de se faire écho de propos susceptibles de lui nuire dans l’exercice de sa profession.

Ils ne délivrent que les catégories de matériel dont ils ont les connaissances, l’expérience et la pratique régulière.
