Article D611-6 of the French Commercial code

The regional prefect has a period of three months in which to grant or refuse approval.

The starting point for this period is set at the date of issue of the acknowledgement of receipt specifying the completeness of the application file submitted by the group.

If the regional prefect has not notified his response within the time limit set, the group is deemed to have been approved.

The withdrawal of approval, pronounced by the regional prefect, is notified by letter to the group and to all the administrations.

Le préfet de région dispose d’un délai de trois mois pour accorder ou refuser son agrément.

Le point de départ de ce délai est fixé au jour de la délivrance de l’accusé de réception précisant le caractère complet du dossier de demande déposé par le groupement.

Si le préfet de région n’a pas notifié sa réponse dans le délai qui lui est imparti, le groupement est réputé agréé.

Le retrait de l’agrément, prononcé par le préfet de région, est notifié par lettre au groupement et à toutes les administrations.
