The time devoted to the duties of the chairman of the grouping medical commission is valued and counted towards the service obligations of practitioners.
The chairman of the grouping medical commission receives training when he takes up his post, adapted to the exercise of high responsibilities.
At his request, he may also receive training at the end of his term of office, with a view to continuing his activity or resuming all his medical activities.
A functional allowance is paid to the chairman of the grouping medical commission. The amount and terms of payment of this allowance are set by order of the ministers responsible for health and social security.
This allowance is subject to the supplementary pension scheme instituted by decree no. 70-1277 of 23 December 1970, as amended, creating a supplementary social insurance pension scheme for non-tenured civil servants and public authorities.
