I. – The functions of member of the Financial Sector Advisory Committee and member of the Advisory Committee on Financial Legislation and Regulation are free of charge.
II. – The Banque de France provides the General Secretariats of the Advisory Committees with the staff and resources they need to carry out their duties.
III. – Representatives of the Parliamentary Assemblies shall sit on the Advisory Committees until the renewal of the term of office for which they were appointed. They are replaced at the time of this renewal. The other members of the committees, with the exception of ex officio members, are appointed for a term of three years.
In the event of the death or resignation of a member or the loss during his term of office of the status which justified his appointment, he shall be replaced within two months and in the same manner for the remainder of his term of office.
IV. – The members of the Advisory Committees have a duty of discretion with regard to any information that comes to their knowledge in the course of their duties.
V. – The Advisory Committee on the Financial Sector and the Advisory Committee on Financial Legislation and Regulation each submit an annual report to the President of the Republic and to Parliament. These reports are public.
