Article D615-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Government Commissioners represent the State in the bodies to which they are appointed pursuant to the provisions of article L. 615-1. They also represent the State in the bodies to which a Government Commissioner has been appointed by virtue of specific legislative or regulatory texts.

Les commissaires du Gouvernement représentent l’Etat auprès des organismes dans lesquels ils sont nommés en application des dispositions de l’article L. 615-1. Ils assurent également cette représentation auprès des organismes dotés d’un commissaire du Gouvernement en vertu des textes législatifs ou réglementaires spécifiques.
