Article D615-6 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Government Commissioner may object to any deliberation or decision involving the body in the implementation of the prerogatives of public authority or the public interest mission entrusted to it, and request a second deliberation. It has fifteen days in which to do so. Reasons must be given for the request. It reports to the Minister for the Economy.

If, after a second deliberation, the disagreement persists, the Government Commissioner may refuse the decision, stating the reasons.

Le commissaire du Gouvernement peut s’opposer à toute délibération ou décision engageant l’organisme dans la mise en oeuvre des prérogatives de puissance publique ou de la mission d’intérêt public qui lui ont été confiées, et demander une seconde délibération. Il dispose à cet effet d’un délai de quinze jours. Sa demande doit être motivée. Il en rend compte au ministre chargé de l’économie.

Si, après une seconde délibération, le désaccord subsiste, le commissaire du Gouvernement peut opposer un refus motivé à cette décision.
