The odontology hospital students mentioned in article R. 6153-63 receive, where applicable:
1° A flat-rate transport allowance when they complete a work placement outside the university hospital centre to which they are attached, if the work placement is located at a distance of more than 15 kilometres from the training and research unit in which the student is registered. When the placement is organised on a full-time basis, it must be located at a distance of more than 15 kilometres from both the training and research unit in which the student is registered and his or her home. This allowance may not be combined with any scheme for the total or partial reimbursement of transport costs paid directly to the person concerned. An order of the ministers responsible for the budget, higher education and health sets the amount and payment terms.
2° A special allowance not subject to contributions to the supplementary pension scheme, equal to 40% of the remuneration provided for in article R. 6153-72, for hospital odontology students on placement, within the meaning of article R. 6153-64, in Guadeloupe, Guyana, La Réunion, Martinique, Mayotte, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin or Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon ;
3° Reimbursement of air travel costs, paid to odontology hospital students previously domiciled in one of the territories mentioned in 2° or in metropolitan France, who are assigned to a training course in one of the territories mentioned in 2°, other than their place of residence, when they settle in and when they return after their assignment, on the basis of the cost of economy class air travel. This reimbursement is paid to the student by the university hospital centre to which they are attached.
II – Dental surgery students at the Armed Forces Health Service Schools do not receive the allowances and reimbursement mentioned in I.
