Article D6221-18 of the French Public Health Code

Biological samples transmitted by the medical biology laboratory established in France requesting the performance of the analytical phase are subject to a monitoring procedure making it possible to establish the conformity of the biological samples accepted by the laboratory established in another Member State of the European Union or party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area which performs the analytical phase, their identification, the maintenance of their integrity and their traceability.

Les prélèvements biologiques transmis par le laboratoire de biologie médicale établi en France demandeur de la réalisation de la phase analytique font l’objet d’une procédure de suivi permettant d’établir la conformité des échantillons biologiques acceptés par le laboratoire établi dans un autre Etat membre de l’Union européenne ou partie à l’accord sur l’Espace économique européen qui réalise la phase analytique, leur identification, le maintien de leur intégrité et leur traçabilité.
