Article D6221-2 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

As regards the territorial councillors, the order of the table is determined:

1° By the earliest date of appointment since the last full renewal of the territorial council;

2° Between councillors elected on the same day, by the greatest number of votes obtained;

3° And, in the event of a tie, by priority of age.

A duplicate of the table remains deposited in the offices of the local authority and the representative of the State, where anyone may take notice or a copy.

1° Par la date la plus ancienne de nomination intervenue depuis le dernier renouvellement intégral du conseil territorial ;

2° Entre conseillers élus le même jour, par le plus grand nombre de suffrages obtenus ;
