Article D6221-6 of the French Public Health Code

The list of Member States of the European Union or parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area in which the accreditation conditions, the authorisation conditions or the approval conditions for medical biology laboratories performing the analytical phase of a medical biology examination begun in France are recognised as equivalent to those imposed on medical biology laboratories established on French territory is set by order of the Minister for Health, issued after consultation with the Director General of the French Accreditation Committee.

La liste des Etats membres de l’Union européenne ou parties à l’accord sur l’Espace économique européen dans lesquels les conditions d’accréditation, les conditions d’autorisation ou les conditions d’agrément des laboratoires de biologie médicale réalisant la phase analytique d’un examen de biologie médicale commencé en France sont reconnues équivalentes à celles imposées aux laboratoires de biologie médicale établis sur le territoire français est fixée par arrêté du ministre chargé de la santé, pris après avis du directeur général du Comité français d’accréditation.
