Article D6221-8 of the French Public Health Code

The person in charge of the medical biology laboratory established in another Member State of the European Union or party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area shall inform the Minister responsible for health without delay in the event of suspension or withdrawal of the accreditation, authorisation or approval issued by the competent authorities of the State in which it is established.

At any time, the Minister for Health may request a copy of the laboratory’s valid accreditation, authorisation or approval documents.

Suspension of accreditation is made public in the register provided for in Article D. 6221-19.

Le responsable du laboratoire de biologie médicale établi dans un autre Etat membre de l’Union européenne ou partie à l’accord sur l’Espace économique européen informe sans délai le ministre chargé de la santé en cas de suspension ou de retrait de l’accréditation, de l’autorisation ou de l’agrément délivré par les autorités compétentes de l’Etat dans lequel il est établi.

A tout moment, le ministre chargé de la santé peut demander une copie des documents valant accréditation, autorisation ou agrément du laboratoire, en cours de validité.

La suspension de l’accréditation est portée à la connaissance du public dans le registre prévu à l’article D. 6221-19.
