Article D6222-28-1 of the French Labour Code

When the duration of the apprenticeship contract or period is less than the duration of the training cycle preparing for the qualification which is the subject of the contract, in application of the third paragraph of articles L. 6222-7-1 or L. 6222-12-1, or in application of article R. 6222-23-1, the apprentice is considered, with regard to his remuneration, to have completed a period of apprenticeship equal to this training cycle.

Lorsque la durée du contrat ou de la période d’apprentissage est inférieure à celle du cycle de formation préparant à la qualification qui fait l’objet du contrat en application du troisième alinéa des articles L. 6222-7-1 ou L. 6222-12-1, ou en application de l’article R. 6222-23-1, l’apprenti est considéré, en ce qui concerne sa rémunération, comme ayant accompli une durée d’apprentissage égale à ce cycle de formation.
