Article D6222-28-2 of the French Labour Code

When the duration of the apprenticeship contract or period is longer than the duration of the training cycle preparing for the qualification which is the subject of the contract, in application of the third paragraph of article L. 6222-7-1, the minimum wage applicable during the extension is that corresponding to the last year of performance of the contract prior to this extension, in accordance with the procedures laid down in article D. 6222-26.

Lorsque la durée du contrat ou de la période d’apprentissage est supérieure à celle du cycle de formation préparant à la qualification qui fait l’objet du contrat, en application du troisième alinéa de l’article L. 6222-7-1, le salaire minimum applicable pendant la prolongation est celui correspondant à la dernière année d’exécution du contrat précédant cette prolongation selon les modalités prévues à l’article D. 6222-26.
