When an apprentice enters into a new apprenticeship contract with the same employer, his remuneration is at least equal to that which he received during the last year of performance of the previous contract, where the latter led to the award of the qualification or diploma thus prepared, except where the application of the remuneration provided for in this sub-section according to his age is more favourable.
When an apprentice concludes a new apprenticeship contract with a different employer, his remuneration is at least equal to that to which he was entitled during the last year of performance of the previous contract, when the latter led to the award of the qualification or diploma thus prepared, except when the application of the remuneration provided for in this sub-section according to his age is more favourable.
