The information file provided for in article LO 1112-8 is made available to the public by the collectivity of Saint-Barthélemy, at least fifteen days before the poll.
The information pack is made available to the public at the local authority’s town hall. The electors of the collectivity are informed by any means.
The file includes the text of the question to which the electors are called to answer, the draft deliberation or act submitted for their approval and an explanatory report setting out the reasons for and scope of the project and, where applicable, the technical and financial characteristics of its implementation. The file also contains, where applicable, notes, reports, opinions and any other documents required by law or regulation for information prior to decisions being taken by the competent territorial authorities.
It specifies that the result of the referendum will have the force of a decision and mentions the quorum and majority conditions required by the first paragraph of article LO 1112-7 for the project to be adopted.
