Article D6271-8 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

In order to enable the prior assessment of the costs and revenue corresponding to the exercise of transferred competences, in accordance with the provisions of articles LO 6271-5 and LO 6271-6, the transfers of powers from the State, the region and the department of Guadeloupe take effect on 1 January 2008.

Afin de permettre l’évaluation préalable des charges et des recettes correspondant à l’exercice des compétences transférées, conformément aux dispositions des articles LO 6271-5 et LO 6271-6, les transferts de compétence de l’Etat, de la région et du département de la Guadeloupe prennent effet le 1er janvier 2008.
