Two identical types of ballot papers, printed in black on white paper, one bearing the answer “YES” and the other the answer “NO”, are provided by the collectivity of Saint-Martin, in a number equal to that of the registered voters within its jurisdiction. They are sent to the local authority’s office no later than the Tuesday before the ballot.
The ballot papers and the electoral envelopes are placed at the disposal of the voters in each polling station, under the responsibility of the president of the polling station.
On the day of the ballot, the local authority may supplement, as necessary, the quantities of ballot papers deposited in the polling stations.
